Awesome Nutrition Tips To Spice Up Your Bodybuilding Diet

A lot of guys I know will go on a contest diet and deny themselves every taste they might enjoy on a regular diet, just to stay on the straight and narrow. The sentiment among bodybuilders for years has been that eating things that taste good isn’t good for the longevity of a diet.

I have counseled many bodybuilders about this practice – not that most of you listen – to help people understand how much of a set up that is. Still, most of you go on a bland diet of boiled chicken, broccoli and no seasoning on fish or other meats. It’s an odd practice and one that I am totally puzzled by.

Now, it is true that before you go on a diet, your body is accustomed to eating anything and everything. You have spices; you have sugar, flour, caffeine, unnatural and natural ingredients and a host of tastes that you are used to having. It’s understandable that cutting out flour and sugar ought to be first, and all encompassing, throughout your diet. But, cutting out all spices and other items that might make food taste good, is futile. It’s my contention that doing this actually sets you up for failure, not success.

So how can you spice up a diet that you’ve chosen to be bland? Plenty of ways. Spice is everything in terms of taste and cutting out all spices is ludicrous. But which ones can you use? What is not going to jeopardize your conditioning? Quite a few will let you feel normal, but do nothing to ruin condition. But then again, more than just spice, learning how to cook something in a way that makes it more palatable, is really important to actually embracing the diet experience.

First off, learning how to cook meats in a way that is palatable is the best place to start. Braising is a great choice, as is BBQing, as many of you know. The latter is probably my favorite – whether on a diet or not – but it isn’t always practical. So when you’re home on a Sunday, buy a cut of meat at the store that is very lean, very tough and is not particularly palatable to put in to a non-stick pan and just fry up without oil. A lot of times these cuts, because they have no fat, can be some of the toughest and least palatable.

Skirt steak, mock tenderloins and certain roasts are really hard to eat if you cook them incorrectly. Start by opening a bottle of wine – a $6 or $7 red one – like a Merlot or Cabernet. Fill a stockpot with the liquid, and also chicken or beef stock – 2 cans or so. Then add pepper, shallots or other onions and garlic you’ve chopped finely. Before you put the beef, veal or lean pork into the sauce, heat it up to boiling. In the meantime, seal your meat by searing it in a scorching hot pan, on all sides. Then put it into the liquid, bring to a boil and then reduce to simmer and let it sit for 4 hours on the stove. The liquid will reduce, so add water to cover it completely if need be.

Within that time, the meat will break down and you’ll wonder how it got so tender. A Crock-pot may also do this, but I prefer the stove-top method. Short ribs are great for this. They may look fatty, but all the fat comes off in the liquid, for the most part. They are like $1.90 a pound and very affordable. You can cook up a dozen of them for meals over 2 days. You can throw in celery and carrots in the wine mix to add flavor too.

You can do an Asian one with chicken stock, low sodium soy sauce, Chinese 5 spice, water, garlic, onion, some Splenda brown sugar, and 2 inches of freshly cut ginger. Simmer all ingredients after you’ve boiled it, and then reduce the heat and simmer liquid and meat for 4 hours. Remove the meat and put on a plate and reduce the liquid down further over about 45 minutes to an hour. It makes a sauce that is sugar free, tastes great and is over beef to boot! Steam root vegetables, which have a little starch to them but not as much as potatoes or rice, and you have a meal fit for a stage champ!

Other Ways To Make Things Palatable:

– Simmer fish or chicken in juice like guava or mango, and discard the juice after. It’s called poaching and it’s a great way to make meats tender and take on the flavors of the liquid.

– Cook meats in liquid soups

– Buy Indian and Thai spices and cook. If you are on a low carb, but higher fat diet, make a sauce out of curry powder and canned coconut milk and simmer the chicken, shrimp or beef in the sauce. You’ll think you died and went to heaven!

– Buy different kinds of peppercorns to grind over meats- they all taste different.

– Buy a cast iron Dutch oven at a camp store, follow instructions for seasoning it, and then cook a pile of meat or poultry in the Dutch oven (a big cast iron pot with a lid) for hours while you do other things.

Add vegetables the last hour or so and you have a GREAT meal that tastes better than what you normally do. And you never had to do anything but stick it all in a pot and watch TV.

– Use lemons, limes, oranges and tarragon and dill for fish like salmon, halibut and orange roughly.

– Cook chicken in red wine with basil and other Italian spices, onions, garlic, etc. Use low fat ricotta cheese to slather on top and use just plain tomato sauce out of a can – it has almost nothing in it.

There are so many ways to spruce up a diet; there is no excuse to eat bland.

Cooking your vegetables is much better than eating them raw. Distilled water, mild cheese, fish and chicken are also good for you to eat. Sometimes people who have hypothyroidism crave seafood, which is rich in iodine as well as Omega-3, so going out to a place that serves these foods is a good idea once in a while.

Hyperthyroidism is an opposite thyroid condition, where you gland works over time. The things to avoid here are mainly stimulants, like nicotine, caffeine, and alcohol. The foods that you should be eating will help to suppress thyroid production and some that should be avoided will include cauliflower, turnips, and peaches.

The Story OF Baba Shyam is Following below :

It is the description of Medieval Mahabharata. Many of the devotees must be knowing that the eldest among the five Pandava brothers was Yudhishthir, also known as Dharamaraj, and oldest Kaurava sibling was Duryodhan, who was the mirror image of unrighteousness and untruth… A cold war had always been raging between the Pandavas and the Kauravas right from their childhood to their youth. Yudhishthir couldn’t leave the path of righteousness whereas Duryodhan wouldn’t leave the path of evil Duryodhan, at every step, swindled the Pandavas and the limit of cheating was crossed when the Pandavas were compelled to stay in the lakshagraha or the house made of lakh. It was because of blessing of the Lord that the five Pandavas came out safely from lakshagraha along with their mother Kunti. Knowing Duryodhan to be their prime enemy, they did not return to Hastinapur. They started living in the forest. During the same period when, on one night, in a dense forest, mother Kunti, Yudhishthir, Arjun, Nakul and Sahdev were in deep sleep, the club bearer Bhim, symbol of strength, ‘son of the wind’ was guarding them alertly… In the same forest, there lived a demon called Hidimb along with his younger sister Hidimba. He could smell the presence of some human being from a distance and he told Hidimba that today is a very happy day, as he smelled the presence of some human being in the forest. You go, hunt him, and bring the killed person to me and then both of us will eat human flesh happily. As the God would have it, when Hidimba reached there, she lost her heart to Bhim, who was in the guise of an alert guard. Now she had only one wish which gained strength with the passage of time. She thought, “Why should not I accept this lion in human form as my husband. There could not be better blessing for me than this.” Since it was getting late, Hidimb himself reached the place. First, he scolded his sister because of seeing Bhim; she had forgotten her demonical nature and had adorned an attractive form. From this, Hidimb could realise that his younger sister had developed a soft feeling in her heart for Bhim. There was no limit to Hidimb’s anger and he told his sister that he would kill immediately all the Pandavas and also teach her a good lesson. But the righteous Bhim said that this woman has come to my refuge and I won’t even allow you to harm her. Hidimb was intoxicated with his pride and so began a fierce battle between Bhim and Hidimb. They used trees and boulders as weapons as they grappled one another. The Pandavas were aware and they believed that Bhim would defeat the demon and so it happened. When Hidimb was killed, Hidimba went to Mother Kunti with bowed head, folded hands, and humbly said, “Oh Mother, I have accepted your son Bhim as my husband in the heart of my hearts. You are a woman, and you know my feelings. Have pity on me and permit me to marry your son named Bhim.” Dharamraj Yudhishthir and mother Kunti both tried to convince her that they were passing through bad times and were wandering from jungle to jungle. In the circumstances, they asked her “what happiness would you get by marrying Bhim?” But who can prevent God’s will from happening. Hidimba’s repeated humble requests melted Kunti’s heart. Bhim and Hidimba got married and the Pandavas and Kunti left Bhim there on the condition that either on the completion of one year or when Hidimba would bear a son, then Bhim would leave Hidimba and return to them. Time passed by quickly. Hidimba gave birth to a son. At the time of his birth, the baby did not have any hair on his head and so he was named Ghatotkachch. Being the son of a demoness, he looked quite tall at time of his birth itself. Hidimba once again reached the Pandava brothers, took the blessings of mother Kunti, and went back taking Ghatotkachch with her. But before leaving, Ghatotkachch. bowed to his father and uncles and they blessed him. The boy promised them that whenever the Pandavas would require his services, he would definitely come to them. And same things happened. After some time, the Pandava brothers were called back to Hastinapur By Bhishm Pitamah and Vidhur and were handed over the kingdom of Indraprastha to rule. Indraprastha was a lonely, rocky place, and the Pandavas had to convert it into a beautiful town. Realising his duty as a son, Ghatotkachch reached to his father. All the Pandava brothers blessed him. The righteous Yudhishthir said, “Oh Vasudev, Oh Krishna, Oh Madhava, Bhim’s son has already grown up that he must get married now. Then with his heart-winning smile, Krishna Kanhaiya said, “yes, oh king of the righteous, the time for the marriage of Ghatotkachch has indeed come.” He then turned to Ghatotkachch and told, “Son, there was a powerful demon named Mur in Pragjyotishpur. He has a daughter named Kamkantakata (Morwi), who is very wise. She subjects anyone who comes with a marriage proposal to her to some very difficult questions. You go there with the blessings of all your elders and with the grace of God; you will answer all her questions, but don’t perform the wedding rituals there. You come here along with her. Lord Krishna’s words can never be false. When Ghatotkachch reached Pragjyotishpur, he had battle of wits with Kamkantakata and became victorious. Thereafter he reached Indraprastha with Kamkantakata. There both of them got married in the presence of Lord Krishna. Then after seeking his elders’ permission, Ghatotkachch proceeded towards east. Time waits for none. It just flows uninterrupted and just passes by and then, finally the auspicious time came when all the planets were so powerful that Kamkantakata bore an illustrious, strong, wise, kind hearted and religious son named Barbareek. There is a reason behind the name Barbareek. At the time of his birth, he had hair like a lion’s mane. And as you know, a lion is very ferocious and hence the name “Barbareek” was given to him. As has been said earlier, some of demonesses grow up as soon as they are born. Now there arose a doubt in Ghatotkachch’s mind as to what his son would become. But he was fortunate enough to have the proximity of Shri Krishna. He took Barbareek to Dwarka and placed him at the feet of lord Shri Krishna. Then Barbareek bowed his head with folded hands, touched Shri Krishna’s feet, and said, “Oh my Lord! How can a creature in this world be blessed? Some say religion brings blessings, some advocated philanthropy, some prefer meditation, some flavor riches, some like pleasure and enjoyment, but many argue that only salvation brings blessing. Oh Lord, out of all these options, please direct me along one path, grant me one option, which may prove to be auspicious for my dynasty and for all others. Please preach to me and advise me about that. “Lord Shri Krishna was very happy to know his feelings, his inner determination, and faith. Therefore, with his sweet attractive smile, he said, “Oh son’. All the four castes in society have their pre-destined paths of invoking blessings according to their position in society. Since you are a ‘Kshatriya’ or a “warrior’, you should use your strength, that is you should use your might which you can get by seeking the blessings of ‘Sureshwari Bhavani Bhagvati.’ Therefore you should first worship the goddess. Barbareek again asked the Lord to which place he should go to meditate upon the goddess and seek her blessings. Then the Bhaktvatsal Lord Krishna told Barbareek to go to the meeting place of the oceans the meditate upon the ‘Durgas’ brought by Narada……………………………

If you have ever been in the Network Marketing industry, you would know that there are some amazing opportunities that emerge and some that are not so great.

Some MLM companies truly thrive to have a good foundation to last long, and others honestly do not give a crap.

They are just looking for a fast buck. They do not care if they are scamming or ripping off people or not.

As Rain Nutrition is building up a reputation, it is obvious that some individuals are going to question its credibility.

In the last couple of months, I and several other Network Marketing experts have noticed that this new company has been causing some “talk” around our community. Some people have written very good reviews, and there is also the typical “MLM naysayers” that are calling it a scam.

Soul will be competing in the health and wellness industry. It is a drink that has plenty of antioxidants and essential fatty acids. Rain Nutrition also claims that soul has anti-aging supplements in it.

Unlike Soul, Rush is competing in the energy drink market. It is composed of natural ingredients and extracts from botanical seeds.

Storm is a product that individuals take after they work out. It was designed to help your body recover quickly after a strenuous workout.

To develop these products Rain Nutrition created a partnership with Arnold S. Leonard, M.D., Ph.D., a thoracic and pediatric surgeon.

From the background information that I have provided you so far about Rain Nutrition you can see nothing that screams, “SCAM!” It appears that Rain Nutrition is just a new MlM company that is trying to secure its spot as a legit company.

And that is the truth. If you have read reviews saying that Rain Nutrition is a scam, they were probably written to take people interested in Rain Nutrition away and redirect them to another opportunity.

But if you are thinking that you could make a lot of money with this company and you have no experience in advertising, it will be extremely difficult for you.

You see this happens a lot. People join an MLM company and they have no marketing plan or they do not have a very good one.

The Lean, Not so Mean, Green Juice

Green juices are the new trend in the eat healthy, detox your body frenzy.

Raw juices made mostly from kale are in high demand to the point where in cities like Hong Kong, imported kale is at a shortage.

Organic shops have been forced into keeping waiting lists, for when the product hits the store.

One of the most influential advocates of the green juice diet is Gwyneth Paltrow, who describes her strict diet consisting in lots of raw juices in her book “Its All Good, published early last year.

Gwyneth follows a vegetarian diet that excludes anything from animal origin, except for fish. She claims tomatoes and strawberries produce allergies and all caffeine, chocolate based foods are poison! I personally cant imagine giving up my morning coffee, cupcakes with friends, pizza as a treat! Er yeap, not happening for me.

Curious about this new trend and excited about all the potential benefits, I decided to go ahead and make myself Gwyneth Paltrows Best Green Juice. Its actually nicer than it looks.
The recipe is as follows:

Ingredients:
5 large leaves of kale, ribs discarded, leaves roughly chopped
1 lemon, zest and pith removed
1 large apple or pineapple,
A 2.5cm piece of fresh ginger
1 sprig of fresh mint

Directions:
1.) Wash all ingredients well.
2.) Cut all produce to fit through juicer, juice and enjoy!

Substitutions:

Spinach watercress, dandelion leaves, kale, lettuce
Apple Pineapple , pear, cantaloupe (rockmelon), honeydew
Lemon lime, grapefruit
