Automated Espresso Coffee Machine – Make the Tastiest Coffee Without Having to Leave The Kitchen

A morning coffee is among the biggest rituals throughout present day society, as well as going out with friends for coffee. Making the perfect coffee in your own home must consequently become a high priority and therefore obtaining the best unit for the task is critical.

Espresso Coffee Makers – the very best coffee machine

Due to the substantial amount of coffee makers available to buy, it really is hard to know which type to choose. Nowadays a lot more people are discovering the superior flavor of espresso coffee over alternative brewing techniques, thus an automated espresso coffee maker will be the only choice.

What exactly makes espresso so scrumptious? First we must know the brewing procedure. Coffee beans will be finely ground and compacted (tamped), then hot water is forced through at high pressure for a brief time period, under 30 seconds! This creates a syrupy drink topped with “crema”, a thick golden brown layer which should remain for at least a couple of minutes. It is the quality and development of the “crema” which preserves the delightful odor and taste specific to espresso coffee. In the event the preparation period is too short, the espresso is going to be too watery, too long and you will taste that bitter flavor.

Espresso coffee is additionally the foundation for many other common coffee drinks such as lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos, mochas and americanos. Thus, any good quality fully automated espresso machine will create all of these without difficulty. Anybody used to drinking drip or filter coffee will discover absolute bliss with an espresso coffee machine and will be the envy of all their good friends!

Increase Platelets – Eliminate These Foods If You Have Itp Blood Disease

If you have Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura can you increase platelets by eating the right foods?

Or for that matter can you decrease platelets by eating the wrong foods?

The answer is yes on both accounts. Eating properly can have a major impact on your ITP disease. But just how can you increase platelets?

First you must be very mindful of what you put into your body in the way of food. Rememberthat ITP is a breakdown of your immune system mostly caused by rampant inflammation in the body. Many foods are known antagonists to your immune system and should be avoided like the plague. Also, you may be sensitive to certain foods and they can irritate your system and cause your ITP disorder to worsen.

On the opposite side of the fence, there are also many super foods out there that can build up your immune system thereby helping you increase platelets.

Foods to Eliminate if you want to increase platelets.

Sugars table sugar, commercial syrups, (especially high fructose corn syrup which basically wreaks havoc with our metabolism and immune system causing inflammation in the body- unfortunately now days HFCS (High Fructose Corn Syrup is prevalent in a majority of our foods )

Refined Grains white flour, white rice, processed breakfast cereals, pasta etc. (these foods have had most of the good stuff removed and then a bunch of synthetic vitamins added which are not good for your battle to increase platelets.

Processed Food Packaged food AKA dead useless food. Not only do these foods do nothing for your health but they are actually in the long run harmful and will do nothing to help you increase platelets. The cardboard box is probably better for you than what is in it!

Bad Fat Commercial vegetable oils, margarines and especially trans fats (partially hydrogenated vegetable oils) If you want to increase your platelets be sure to eliminate all the above from your diet!

Nutritional Supplements Not all vitamin and mineral supplements are created equal and a large percentage of supplements on the market have been proven to actually cause free radical formation which in turn causes inflammation which will never help increase platelets. Instead they could actually cause you to have low blood platelets.

Dairy So many people are actually sensitive to dairy products without even knowing it, and our commercially available dairy products will not help you increase platelets. With all the hormones and antibiotics that are given to our cows, coupled with the processing that is used, dairy products as we know them today are very acid forming in our body, which in turn will increase inflammation and never help to increase platelets.

Fast Food Increase platelets? No way. These are highly processed foods laden with highly saturated fats for longer shelf life and chock full of all sorts of chemical preservatives and fillers. Not only will you get fat by eating fast food, you will become inflamed and get sick. Fast food will NEVER increase platelets!

How To Make Authentic Mexican Food At Home

We all love tacos, enchiladas, burritos and mexican rice dishes. The only problem is the cost of these Mexican favorites at a fine restaurant. What makes the food at a Mexican restaurant so appealing? Surely not the cost of the dish at your local Mexican restaurant!

You can prepare the same dishes as you get at a good Mexican restaurant yourself and even make them better than the chef. It all comes down to having the right ingredients and cooking the meat stock the right way. This simple cooking method can be used for almost all Mexican dishes that call for meat in them.

At the heart of the Mexican recipe is the preparation of the meat stock. Whenever you see the word ‘carne’ on a Mexican food menu, this refers to the type of meat used in the dish. This is usually chicken or beef. When you prepare your meat for the Mexican dish that you want to serve, you have to begin with an authentic Mexican ‘carne’ recipe. This includes different peppers, onions, other ingredients and requires the right simmering time to build the right flavor into the meat.

Although every recipe is different, many Mexican foods use common ingredients that you will need to prepare the carne meat. The use of chili peppers, tomatoes and onions, along with garlic are usually a part of most Mexican food recipes. Some other common ingredients include black pepper, oregano, paprika, parsley, cumin, lime juice, salt, sugar and cilantro. You will also need to keep some light olive oil on hand to prep the skillet.

First, coat the skillet with some light olive oil. Then start by browning the beef or chicken. After the meat is browned, drain off the oil residue into a disposable container. Then add approximately one half of a cup of water to the skillet. Adjust the heat of the stove to low. It is best to have a skillet with a lid, or some way to cover the meat stock while it is simmering.

The secret to great home prepared Mexican food is in the added ingredients you use while simmering your carne meat. For beef dishes, it is recommended that you simmer the browned meat for 35-45 minutes on a low temperature to extract the flavor of the spices. You want to take your time and prepare a lot of stock at one cooking session. The meat stock can be used again after it is frozen.

With chicken carne stock, you can reduce the simmering time to 25-30 minutes. The chicken will absorb the flavor of your spices faster and be ready to add to your recipe sooner. These rules of thumb can be adjusted as needed depending on your taste.

As a basic recipe for preparing Mexican carne stock, use the following ingredients in this order:

* Add 1 tsp. salt

* A few squirts of lime juice

* A dash or two of cumin and oregano

* Black pepper the stock to suit your taste

* Add hot sauce to taste and blend the stock and spices well

* Finally add a few diced green and red peppers.

Then spread chopped and diced onions evenly around the meat. The onions help to release the flavor of the other spices and transfer it into the meat. This is a secret to building a flavorful Mexican meat stock. Your beef or chicken will taste authentic and full flavored.

These are the basics of starting your Mexican cooking. Now all you do is use the meat stock you have prepared in your favorite Mexican recipes. This will start you on your way to cooking the best types of Mexican cuisine. You can save money by cooking at home and enjoy the great Mexican food you love more often.

Open My Own Coffee Shop Skills For Entrepreneurs

Before deciding to open your own coffee shop, take an personal skill inventory to consider if you cover these three bases before going into the business.

Good Taste

When going into the coffee shop business, it is important to have good personal taste regarding food and drinks. Without it, you will either make bad product decisions or rely heavily on others to make product decisions for you. This is not the end of the world, but does require that you trust not only the ability of your partners or employees, but that they are putting your interests first.

If you know you are lacking in the area of taste, you can take a course in coffee appreciation or work on your own to learn the many different tastes of coffee, tea, and other beverages available. Developing the ability to compare the tastes of drinks made by your potential competitors will improve your chances of competing successfully once you open.

Customer Service Experience

Having customer service skill is another key ability for a coffee shop owner. If you don’t have this skill, you run the risk of building your coffee shop around its products, its decor, or a gimmick and forgetting that your business must live and die by its service. With personal experience in a sales or customer service role, you will find it much easier to train your employees to serve customers in the way you want them served, and to understand the type of strategic decisions your employees will have to make that impact customer service while they work the counter.

Financial Understanding

If you lack understanding of the basic financials of the business, you will be dependent on a partner or employee who has it. At best, this can limit the profits that you can see because of the need to compensate this person for bringing this skill to the table. At worst, it can lead to financial decisions which are not in your personal best interest.

If you feel you are in this category, find the time to take some beginning accounting classes, including financial and cost accounting. Local organizations and continuing education programs at colleges may offer these. Learn how to at least read financial statements and how the basic cost and revenue drivers of the coffee shop business can mean the difference between profit and loss. Know what you have to offer investors so that, even if it is your financial wiz partner presenting the deal, you know what you are getting into.

Culinary Arts Education Getting A Degree In Less Than Two Years

Culinary Arts can be a very exciting career, but before deciding on furthering your education you may want to step back and consider exactly what it is that you want to do in the food industry. Many job opportunities don’t necessary require an education pass high school or an equivalent diploma. Short order cooks, fry cooks and even food preps often simply require on the job training. It is usually chefs, nutritionists, food managers, and those who truly envision food preparation as a form of art who will need to further their education into culinary arts.

A degree in culinary arts can usually be obtained in two years or less. The first part is obtaining your culinary chef certification and from there you can get your AOS degree. (Associate of Occupational Studies) Those who get the culinary chef certification but not their AOS degree are more often than not limiting themselves to being a sous-chef at best. It is with the AOS degree that you open the doors to so many carrier paths. On-line degrees are not recommended for culinary arts as working with foods is more of a hands on task. It’s important to be able to see, smell and taste as you are learning. A good palate is very often a chef’s best friend.

The nice thing about obtaining a degree in culinary arts is that you aren’t limiting yourself to only being a chef. If you’ve gotten your degree and started working in a five star restaurant, what happens if you find cooking simply isn’t for you? There are a variety of other career paths that you can choose from! You can work in restaurant management, as a nutritionist, you can teach others the art of cooking, you could become a food critic for newspapers and magazines, and you could even become a food stylist and photograph all that yummy goodness you see in magazines!

There may be some of you who know you aren’t interested in becoming a chef or want any type of career where food is involved. Maybe you want to learn to cook different meals for your family or learn how to incorporate more nutritious food into your daily menu. We don’t all need to want to become a chef in order to want to cook our family good nutritious meals they will enjoy. There are also a wide variety of ways for you to learn as well. You can find a local cooking class, recipe swaps, even cooking school getaways for you and your spouse.

We are living in a time where chefs are no longer tucked back away in a kitchen never to be seen. Chefs are, in fact, more recognized today than ever. Just recently one of the contestants from Hell’s Kitchen moved into a neighboring town where I live. Overnight he has made what once was a place where only the young went to enjoy their spirits a restaurant that has people waiting in lines to grab a table. If cooking is your passion, furthering your education is the key to success. Aim high and enjoy every bite.

Always a proponent of education, Torres went back to school to earn his Master Pastry Chef degree from 1980 to 1983.
