What is a BBQ Smoker

The term BBQ Smoker is a bit of a strange term. This is because the term BBQ has been corrupted over a period of time.

BBQ originally described the cooking of meat over a wood fire and therefore the meat was being smoked as it was cooked. There was no need for a BBQ smoker because the BBQ was the smoker. Because barbecuing meat got so popular and with the mass migrations of people into the confinement of the cities, household BBQ grills began to get popular. The most convenient form of fuel for these BBQ grills was another BBQ product called charcoal. Later the BBQ grills began using propane gas as the primary source of heat.

As people used these BBQ grilling products they began to find that the wood smoke taste was missing. Now there was a need of a BBQ product to help bring back the wood smoke to the BBQ grill and hence the BBQ smoker term was created.

A BBQ smoker can be anything from a tray made of aluminum foil, filled with wood chips and placed on top of the grill to the ultra modern and very practical SmokePistol. The problem with the pan of wood chips is that it takes quite a while for the heat from the BBQ grill to get the wood chips smoking and once they start the smoke lasts for a very short time period. They are also messy.

There is a new BBQ product on the market called a GrillKicker. This little BBQ smoker will make a lot of smoke for about hour and it can be started with just a match. There is no need to even light the BBQ grill to get the GrillKicker smoking and this permits the user to cold smoke the food before cooking it as well as smoking the food while it is being cooked. This increased smoking time imparts more of the real BBQ flavor to the food.

Another clever BBQ smoker that has been around for about 5 years is the SmokePistol (www.smokepistol.com). The SmokePistol is a smoke generator that can be attached to any BBQ grill or smoker and this little unit will produce smoke continuously for over 4 hours on a single cartridge. The cartridge can then be replaced and the smoke continues for another 4 – 5 hours. The unit also has a smoke control on it which controls the amount of smoke being delivered making it the ultimate BBQ smoker.

So the BBQ smoker is now a standard BBQ product which would have never existed except for the change in our methods of BBQ.

A Healthy Diet Menu Is A Path To A Healthy Lifestyle

People live extremely fast paced lives and have little or no time to take care of their health. However, nobody is safe from the poisonous fumes of car engines, cigarette smoke, greasy fast food and easy-to-make processed food that have become such an integral part of lives today.

Living in this world, it is your job to make sure you keep your body free from the toxins present in the air around you and the food you eat. Once you know of the benefits of keeping your body clean, it is very easy to drift from a damaging, dangerous lifestyle into a healthy, long-lived one. People die from obesity, heart attacks, food poisoning, and other illnesses day after day and it is not very easy to imagine that you can be one of them. Try making a change today so that you do not regret your tomorrow.

The initial and most important step towards a lifestyle suited for a longer life expectancy and long term fitness is planning a healthy diet menu for yourself. This does not only mean that you intake good nourishing food stuff, but it also means for you to cut down on the stuff that is harming your body. That means a big no-no for fast food! Once you decide, and are mentally prepared, to make a healthy diet menu, you have to make sure it is lenient enough for you to follow it. You cannot expect yourself to live on vegetables for the rest of your life. Add a variety of flavors and taste so that you do not get bored of the idea and revert to the ‘easy way out’. That path takes you onto a rough road filled with problems, diseases, ailments, and lower life expectancy. Live longer by eating healthier today.

A healthy diet menu consists of various antioxidants that help to detoxify your body, a sufficient amount of clean water, fruits, vegetables, whole grain cereals, etc. It sounds very dull at first, but you can make this work for you. Drinking lots of water should not be a problem. If you really cannot handle drinking several cups a day, you can, and probably should, add some herbal tea to add some flavor to your drink. Herbal tea has antioxidants on its own that help remove toxins from your body. Food rich in fiber and vitamins are considered to be helpful in removing pollutants from your body too. Naturally, this implies natural, organic fruits. With the wide variety of fruits available from all over the world today, your healthy diet menu can have zeal of its own. You can also make different styles of dishes with fruits, or squeeze out the pulp and make yourself some cocktail. Replace your white bread and rice with bran bread and brown rice. These are necessary additions to a healthy diet menu as they contain a lot of fiber that helps cleanse your digestive system.

Not only does this healthy lifestyle clean your body and make it healthier, it also helps you lose weight. You cannot ignore the benefits of a lifestyle that saves you the worry of inflicting damage to your own body. A healthy diet menu should be your first step to a vigorous, flowing personality.

The most important step to a healthier life is the change to a healthy diet. Get more information from the free copy of my e-book report to make better choices!

The Importance of Fiber In Weight Loss

Fiber is commonly divided into two types, soluble and insoluble. Soluble fiber dissolves in water and is usually found in fruits, vegetables, wheat, and oats. Insoluble fiber tends to exit the body largely unchanged, and is found in foods like seeds, nuts, and celery. Consumption of both soluble and insoluble fiber is vital to a healthy diet. While you may have heard of the importance of a high fiber diet for colon health, there are many other health benefits.

For people with heart disease or elevated cholesterol, fiber can help reduce cholesterol levels and decrease the risk of possible cardiac events. In fact, a study from The Journal of the American College of Cardiology, noted that women consuming higher fiber diets have a decreased risk of heart attacks, and coronary artery disease, compared to similar women who consume less fiber.

Health Benefits of Fiber

Blood sugar control: Soluble fiber may help to slow your body’s breakdown of carbohydrates and the absorption of sugar, helping with blood sugar control. Heart health: An inverse association has been found between fiber intake and heart attack, and research shows that those eating a high-fiber diet have a 40 percent lower risk of heart disease. Stroke: Researchers have found that for every seven-grams more fiber you consume on a daily basis, your stroke risk is decreased by 7 percent. Weight loss and management: Fiber supplements have been shown to enhance weight loss among obese people, likely because fiber increases feelings of fullness. Skin health: Fiber, particularly psyllium husk, may help move yeast and fungus out of your body, preventing them from being excreted through your skin where they could trigger acne or rashes. Diverticulitis: Dietary fiber (especially insoluble) may reduce your risk of diverticulitis – an inflammation of polyps in your intestine – by 40 percent. Hemorrhoids: A high-fiber diet may lower your risk of hemorrhoids. Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS): Fiber may provide some relief from IBS. Gallstones and kidney stones: A high-fiber diet may reduce the risk of gallstones and kidney stones, likely because of its ability to help regulate blood sugar.

Aim to get fiber from whole foods, rather than processed foods that claim they have added fiber added. Try adding a few of the following foods and your body will thank you.

Brown rice, oatmeal

Berries

Chia and Flax Seeds

Apples, Pears, Mango

Black Beans, Red Beans, Garbanzo Beans

Edamame

Almonds

You Wont Believe This Easy, Simple Method for Cooking Sauce

One of the most difficult things for a cook at home to make is a flavorful sauce. A great sauce will cover some of the worst cooking mistakes, enhance most of the best cooking successes and make you appear to be a home cooking genius.

Cooking a sauce means adding flavor, texture, and appearance to your home cooking dishes. A sauce or gravy is made of three simple ingredients: liquid, thickener, and flavorings. When you need easy cooking ideas for cooking sauces at home, you need only think of these three things.

Liquid for Your Sauce

If youre making a chicken dish, youll probably want to add something like chicken broth. If youre making a tropical dish, you might add a fruit juice or add soy sauce to an Asian dish. Add the liquid that makes sense for the protein that youve cooked and once youre comfortable making sauces, be open to experimenting with new and different flavor combinations. Next, you will need to be able to thicken your liquid so that it sticks to your food for some great home cooking.

Thickener for Your Sauce

A sauce needs to be thick enough to cling to food and not wind up as a puddle on the bottom of the plate. The easiest way to thicken a liquid is with a cornstarch slurry. This is the same method that most of our grandmothers used to make gravy from the pan drippings of the holiday turkey. When you dissolve cornstarch in a cold liquid, then add it to a hot liquid (your sauce), it will gelatinize, and thicken the sauce.

While slurry is the easiest way to cooking sauce success, roux is the most widely used and most flavorful because of the fat needed to separate starch molecules. If youve ever noticed lumps in your gravy, its because groups of starch molecules have stuck together and only thickened on the outside of the group. Butter, oil, or solid fats in a roux help to “line up” the starch molecules for the introduction of hot liquid and their opportunity to individually absorb the liquid and swell, this thickening the sauce.

Flavoring for Your Sauce

The liquid that you used to create your sauce may give you enough of a flavor profile that you dont need to add any additional flavors. However, if there isnt enough flavor, add some! You could add garlic, onions, ginger or any number of different ingredients while you are cooking your sauce to help to liven up your home cooking.

No matter what the liquid, thickening agent or flavor profile you choose, you can find that cooking sauce is a skill youll enjoy and will lead to more easy cooking ideas without recipes. Before you know it, everyone will be begging you to have them over to your house for some great home cooking.

Digestion Hygiene, A Very Important Thing To Consider For Food Connoiseurs

It is quite hard for us to determine the health status of our stomach and digestive track. For the most part, we are unaware of their existence and often disregard its health when the feeling of hunger calls our attention, even more when satiety warns us that we are eating too much. To maintain a healthy digestive system, careful obsercanve in the rules of eating should always be considered.
Quoting from Dr. Kellogg’s work on physiology, “The hygiene of digestion has to do with the quality and quantity of food eaten, in the manner of eating it.”
The fact that the first stage of digestion starts in the mouth, if food is eaten rapidly, it will not properly be digested and divided. You’ll even give your digestive fluids more work if you swallow food in lumps because they cannot readily act upon it. It is very important to digest the food properly. On the account of no proper mastication, your saliva will be deficient in quality resulting to indigestion of starch which consequently hyposecrete gastric juice. Experts advice that a considerable proportion of hard food should be eaten every meal with thorough mastication since soft or liquid food is most likely to be swallowed without proper chewing.
In addition, drinking too much at meals encourages hasty eating practice which will result to the dilution of gastric juice. The proper way to do it is to allow the food to be chewed and wait for it to be sufficiently moistened by saliva. Always remember that to everything there must be balance. If large quantities of food enter your stomach, digestion cannot begin instantly until it gets a considerable amount of fluid. Ice creams, ice-water, iced milk and tea delays the digestion process as your stomahc gets chills.
It is quite amazing that the Indians of Brazil are conscious of the health of their digestive tracks, they abstain drinking water when eating. Here are a list of useful information in maintaining a healthy digestive track.
When eating between meals…
It is considered that the habit of eating fruits such as apples, nuts and confectionary is harmful and are likely to produce loss of apetite and indigestion. All body organs need rest. If eating between meals is a big thing for you, you should consider minimizing it for a bit to allow your stomach to rest. Adults should not eat food other than three times per day. For the inactive ones, the most healthy eating practice is twice a day. The greeks did it in the past and got good results. You might wanna try that too.

Keep your diet simple…
TOo much vareitty in meals will lead to disease in the digestive organs. The nations in the world whose diet is the most simple are the most hardy and enduring. Take foe example in Scotland, scotch peasants live chiefly on oatmeal, Irish on potatoes, milk, the Italaians on peas, beans, macaroni, and chestnuts; but all of them have remarkable health endurance. Also, the natives of Canary Isaland, subsists on a food called gofio consisting a parched grain and coaresely ground in a mortar and mixed with water.

Eating well when Tired…
Eating too much when tired from an exhausting exercise and violent physical workout is never healthy at all. This is because your system is not readily adjusted to do the digestion properly. It needs a bit of rest beforehand. Also, sleeping immediately adter eating is harmful. Digestion cannot be well done when sleeping. Another thing sleeping is known of is, evil-effects of late suppers.
Excessive eating…
Hast eating is the main problem of all eating disorders. When you eat too rapid, the food herds into your stomach so fast that your system has no room to cry. Excess foods are most likely to end up fermented in the stomach, soury before it can be digested. When you always eat too much, you will always feel dull after the meal.
It is important to be aware of these things to maintain a health digestive system. Follow these simple guie daily and you will have superior intestinal health.

Ganoderma Organo Gold Coffee Network Marketing Survival Training Part Seven

The definition, as defined by Wikipedia the free encyclopaedia on the internet, of what an Opinion is, is as follows, quote “In general, an opinion is a belief about matters commonly considered to be subjective, i.e., it is based on that which is less than absolutely certain, and is the result of emotion or interpretation of facts. An opinion may be supported by an argument, although people may draw opposing opinions from the same set of facts. Opinions rarely change without new arguments being presented. It can be reasoned that one opinion is better supported by the facts than another by analyzing the supporting arguments. In casual use, the term opinion may be the result of a person’s perspective, understanding, particular feelings, beliefs, and desires. It may refer to unsubstantiated information, in contrast to knowledge and fact-based beliefs”. You need to teach your distributor to know the difference between facts and opinions.

As an example if a person says, your products are too expensive, you always need to ask yourself whether that objection statement is a fact or an opinion. This example is an opinion, it is not a fact. Other examples of objections that need to be analyzed as to whether they are opinions or facts are objections such as, network marketing doesn’t work, network marketing is illegal, those two objections are both opinions they are not fact. Your new distributor needs to learn the facts and then respond to the opinions of prospects with the learnt facts. This way they do not need to argue with their prospects. Another technique that your new distributor needs to be taught to use when handling objectives in a non argumentative way with their prospects is the “Know, Feel, Found” technique. This technique is very effective and it works.

This is a fact and not an opinion. So you respond to your prospect by saying that yes you know how they feel about their objection and that you felt the same way in the beginning about whatever it is and you found however certain facts about what you and your prospect feels and you explain your findings with the facts that you have learnt about the objection. The objections that you had when you looked at the ganoderma organo gold coffee network marketing business when your sponsor approached you with the opportunity is going to be exactly the same as the objections that your prospects will have when you first approach them with the coffee network marketing opportunity. Most objections are questions or delay tactics due to the prospect feeling pressurized.
